 Take special note of the following quote from Superintendent Greg Getty: "We have not laid any criminal charges related to those firearms,".

 

 So you're meaning to tell me...WITH A STRAIGHT FACE...Metro Police pulled nearly 400 firearms off Toronto streets, and NOT ONE was an unregistered firearm, from a criminal offender?

 

 WHO ARE YOU KIDDING?

 

 Let's get down to brass tax: Someone is seriously full of shit. And it's NOT me.

 

 Naturally, it would work to their benefit, to just scoop up the "firearms" in question, and NOT lay a single charge. Because charges laid, would become a matter of PUBLIC RECORD. The likes of which could be authenticated, with names, dates, and times. Henceforth, it's much easier to refrain from laying charges, and therfore fall back upon the "We did this, and you're just going to have to take our word for it." runaround. Then it would be to try and dig themselves out of a lie. So unless they found these alleged firearms at the bottom of a dumpster, with nobody in sight, then someone's taking SERIOUS liberties with the truth.
