August 31 Open letter to Audette Shephard, and the Black Action Defence Committee..... It is both ironic and fudamentally absurd, that members of your community push for facist legislation penalizing law-abiding citizens, for the crimes members of YOUR community perpetuate upon itself. Also noteworthy, is the fact that despite Toronto's crackdown on legal firearm owners and related buisnesses, instituted by Socialist Nazi David Miller, Toronto Police statistics show crime is up in your specific neighborhoods by an overall margin of 13%.
The scant 30 individuals who recently attended the Anti-Violence rally at Queen's Park hosted by the BADC, coupled with Audette Shephard's quote in the August 31, 2009 edition of The Toronto Sun, which states "And I gaurantee you these little trigger-happy punks that are running around with these guns, they are not the ones bringing these guns across the border." is absolute proof-positive of your community's persistent refusal to take responsiblity for your own problems.
First and foremost. Unless you, Audette Shephard, are employed as a full-time law enforcement agent for the Canadian Border Services Agency, coupled with years of statistical evidence from the aforementioned department to back such a claim, your "gaurantee" isn't worth the spit it travelled on. Secondly. As is the case with legitimate business, and regardless of who's doing the actual transportation and sale of ILLEGAL firearms, it's called "Supply and Demand". Henceforth, if there's NO demand for said weapons in the black community, the subsequent supply dries up. Individuals trafficking illegal firearms are not going to risk potentially life-altering jail time, by sitting on mass quantities of weaponry in the hopes of not being caught with such. As is the case with drugs, or even bootleg booze during the days of Prohibition, they want to move the illegal goods expeditiously, acquire their profit in the same, timely manner, and disappear. So for there to be a steady flow onto Canadian soil, their HAS to be a demand. It's THAT simple. No sane, rational individual believes your claims of ignorance.
However. Repeated "claims of ignorance", certainly serve your community better in the long term. As such allows you to maintain a sense of both irresponsibility, and behave like quasi-social martyrs. BEGGING for financial, government handouts.
For ever community member that's murdered by one of your own, with an ILLEGAL-OBTAINED gun, it's another opportunity for you to watlz infront of a media outlet and cry foul. One more "feel-good" solution will be applied by the Socialist in power. The likes of which will inevitably NOT work. As it does not address the REAL, root causes of the problem: That being your own irresponsibility. One more community center gets built in your honor, with money we don't have. One more youth is labelled "At Risk", and receives a world of financial benefits any other child would never receive in the first place. Due to the colour of their skin. The Province conceives of yet ANOTHER program WE pay for, to benefit a cause you couldn't be bothered to address yourselves. And the cycle continues.
You have now become the beast that eats its tail.
For a quarter-century, your community has produced media in every form, which promotes the very ideals that kill you. Music that promotes sociopathology, irresponsibility and the dehumanization of women. Movies and television that glorify poverty, thievery, rape and murder. The judicial system has been crippled by the sheer amount of crimes, perpetuated by your community. Yet despite this nefarious track record, you somehow consistently manage to lay blame at the feet of everyone else. But as previously stated: It serves your agenda to do so.
A mere 30 individuals attended your rally. 30. Your own community doesn't give a damn about itself. Yet you want everyone else to spend the rest of our lives, and a mass fortune as well, undoing the damage you've done to yourselves, and everyone else, for the last 25 years?
There's a saying, "You reap what you sew.". Unfortunately, we're ALL reaping what you sew. So thanks for taking us down with you.
